Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (Part 2)

I'm not sure where exactly Vance is in relation to Wystern since there isn't actually any overworld map or anything. But regardless, yay traveling! Master Bron wants us to go with him to deliver a shipment of weapons he created himself, but we've got some other things to do for right now.

Go to the house between the Silver Guild and Central Tower and ask the man inside about swords to get your first Technique of the day.

We can travel a bit further down the Labyrinth now, on the third floor past where a man was standing before you will find the stairs. The next floor starts with a room containing a blue triangle which will recover your HP and MP if you stand on it and press A. Outside there is a chest with a Portable Canteen in the southwest corner of the floor.

Keep going down to the 6th floor where there is a teleporter on the right-hand side. Activate it and smash the barrels and crates in order to get to the room behind. There are two chests here containing a Bandage each.

On the next floor head off to the right. You will see a rectangular marking on the wall - this is a secret door. Simply walk into it as you would a regular door to enter the room beyond, this one contains another Portable Canteen.  There is also a save point by the stairs that lead down to the next floor.

The next floor down has another heal tile and another hidden room - this one with a whole trove of treasure. From left to right the chests contain a Martial Ore, Small Tinder, Martial Ore, Small Tinder, and a Coffee Mug. There is another secret room to the right of here containing a Small Faucet, Bandage, Martial Ore, Martial Ore, Martial Ore. Unfortunately, our path is blocked again soon after this. Return to the 6th floor and teleport back to the entrance and head out.

We can access the two upper levels of Wystern now, but there's nothing here so just head to the port. Talk to Master Born here and when you say you're ready you will automatically go to Vance. You'll receive the Guild Delivery and Master Bron will disappear.

There isn't anything here either, so go straight to the shop with a sword above the door for a scene where you will complete the delivery. Tell Bron that you wish to return to Wystern. You will get the Iron Saber Technique upon your return.

When you try to leave the harbor this guy shows up wanting to buy some weapons. Even if say no he will request that we make 10 Iron Sabers for him. Bleh. I really don't want to waste my materials on this, personally. Oh, well.

Return to the labyrinth and teleport down to the third floor. Go down the stairs into the room with the heal panel and talk to Sanary. After she storms off, go back to the port. Nigelle doesn't seem keen on accepting our refusal but that's fine. We have other things to worry about.

On our way back to the workshop we'll encounter this guy. He's a bit of a jerk. Oh, well. If he's in the tournament too I guess we'll get to trounce him sooner or later. Return to your workshop to get the Match Notice 2. However, when you go to fight your match you will run into Sanary again. She'll tell you that the Gold Guild has been buying weapons from Craftknights and selling them to tarnish Wystern's reputation. Hmm, so that's what Nigelle is up to. Why, though?

Anyway, back to the port we go.

Um, Sanary o_o I don't think that's very appropriate. Varil looks like he's into it though. Anyway, even though Sanary is the one threatening him we are the ones that end up actually fighting him. As with Chaves before, you will probably want to break his weapon and acquire the technique. The same strategy I used in the Chaves video will work here, I didn't even bother making the new drill technique yet.

Okay, so I got hit a couple times. But I got a screencap that looks like I punched him in the gut and that makes me a winner in my eyes.

You may be tempted to rush off to Central Tower for the next tournament match, but we've got one more thing to take care of (though it comes in two parts). First, you will need to go and forge the technique we just got from Varil. It requires 10 Mystic Ores, which right now can only been obtained from the somewhat uncommon Spell Sword enemy. I'd suggest farming for them on the 3rd floor, they seemed to appear more often there and then you can just teleport out when you're done. Note that this must be done before you start the tournament match, once the day ends so does the sidequest.

Once you've got the spear, go to Wystern's middle level by going through the door on the left side of the central tower. Once here, go east and enter the house positioned slightly east of the item shop (which is closed by the way). Talk to the man in here and give him the Spear (waaah, my Mystic Ore D:) in exchance for your second Technique. Just a reminder that you can skip this sidequest if you want to keep your Mystic Ore and don't mind having some blank spots in your technique list until the end of the game. Now we can finally go take care of that tournament match.

Kenon is an axe user which means his attacks won't come very swiftly, but they will hit hard. It can be quite difficult to break his weapon before he manages to break yours. The same strategy will work for him that worked for the others though, more or less. Try to rush in, hit him once quickly, and then he will respond by blocking. While he blocks, use the drill spin. Once his durablity is down to at least 1/2 of yours, then you can just start blocking his attacks if you find that easier. It may take a few tries, but eventually you will claim victory and get his technique from him.

Pick where you want to go at the end of the day (you have three choices now!) and then the next scenario will begin right away.
