Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (Day 9)

He's got a point you know, it's almost the end of the game. Sakuro will show up and ask us to meet him at the port, then give us Labyrinth Key 4 before leaving. Let's go do some stuff. First, speak to Bron for a new Sword Technique and get today's drill technique from him as well (forge it, naturally). We'll be giving this one away, so you may want to forge another one for yourself. Also note that you don't have to give the new version of Ureksa's spear away to anyone, but you can certainly forge one for yourself. The elemental version of the new sword will also come in handy.

Leave the guild and give the Terra Rotor to the woman living in the house on the water to the southwest. She'll give you your first Technique. Then go to the port and speak to one of the cats, then go to the cat house and talk to the old man. Tell him the cat has made a friend for the second Technique. Finally, go to the middle level speak to the wife of the axe obsessed craftlord and listen to her gripe one more time. Now go to the labyrinth. I think I already guided you to the 26th floor, yes? Sort of? Good. Teleport there.

The next door is located only two floors away, there's no treasure or anything between the teleporter and here so you shouldn't really need any direction. Make your way down to the 29th floor and then go to the northeast corner to find a secret room that contains a Summon Charm. The 31st floor has the next teleporter, as well as a chest out in the open (northeast corner) that contains a Med Kit. The 32nd floor has two rooms at the south end - the one on the left has a Klotzen Potion and the one on the right just has some barrels and crates.

There is a hidden room to the left of you as you enter the 33rd floor, it contains two Klotzen Potions. After this return to the first floor and exit the labyrinth, as the door on the 33rd floor is locked. Forge any other weapons you'd like to have with your for your next adventure, then go talk to Sakuro at the port.

As with the day before you won't have a chance to do anything else once you return to Wystern, so make sure you have;
 - given the drill-obsessed craftknight the Terra Rotor for Technique 1
 - interacted with the cat at the port and spoken to the old man in the house east of the inn for Technique 2
 - listened to the small rant of the wife of the axe craftknight.

Go left and through the doorway here to use the save point first if you want, then go through the door on the right. There's a room on the left that contains some barrels and an Amulet, then enter the little opening out in the hallway with a green arrow on the bottom. On the next floor, enter the room on the left and get the Conductor Rod from the chest. Go up the chute with the green arrow again, then up the next one after that.  You only have one option here, so go into the one with a red arrow and then enter the room on your left.

After speaking to Varil inside, you can now return to the port and use the bed/save point/forge in Sakuro's ship. Return to this room whenever you're ready and go up the stairs in the northeast corner. Follow the room around and exit via the southwest, then go up the next chute in this hallway. Enter the room (as always, on your left) and get the Klotzen Potion and Conductor Rod inside. Take the next chute up and enter the room which contains an Electric Stone. Exit from the southwest.

Take the next chute up and enter the room to find another Electric Stone. Take the next chute up and then use the save point before entering the room here. There are two chests in the southeast corner which contain another Electric Stone and a Klotzen Potion - access them via the platform southwest of the next stairs up.
Take the stairs when you're ready. Use the heal tile in the next room if you wish and then get the Golden Magatama and Electric Stone in the northwest corner. Exit the room.

You'll have to fight a soldier here - again, if you break their weapon you will just get a Med Kit. Do what you wish, and at the end of the battle go west to the large metal pipe and walk onto the platform beside it. Use a Klotzen Potion to heal (I'm sure you have a few by now) and use the save point if you wish, then head outside. A boss battle will start right away.

Lubert can be a very tough opponent. His drill has a high durability and even weapons with maxed out TEC will have a hard time making it through the fight. If you are going for his technique, you should try to have Weapon Shield active at all times. I also very much having Astral Guard and Healing Spell equipped because he likes to spam magical attacks. I ended up getting him in a corner and he didn't make any attempt to get out at all. He just kept using his basic attack until his weapon broke, I made it through the whole fight without him summoning his guardian beast once. I don't suggest trying to trap him yourself because I think I just got extremely lucky.

When it's done you will actually have another fight.

Parista can be a dangerous opponent or a complete pushover depending on the way you handle this fight. Try to keep your distance as much as possible, and use Weapon Shield just to be on the safe side (you will probably only need to use it once). Run in and strike Parista with your weapon, then run away.

It has three attacks; when the spines on its back glow it is about to breathe fire. Simply stand beside it and block, the fire will go over your head. When you stand very close it will lash out at you with its tongue. It can be dodged very easily by moving back but you are given next to no warning that the attack is coming so just try not to get too close to begin with. Lastly, when its stomach quivers it is about to form into a giant pair of jaws that will snap at you. This attack can do over 300 damage to you even if you are over-leveled and cannot be blocked, so just run away when you see it coming.

When the battle is done you will automatically return to Wystern. Unlike previous days, who you choose to visit at night will have a lasting effect - you will get a special scene with that person the next day as well as at the end of the game.

Day 9 is all done, so all we've got left is the finale!
